COVID-19 CWiE Community Update

The COVID-19 pandemic has escalated and evolved quickly over the last few weeks. Our thoughts continue to be with those who are directly impacted in our community and around the world. Calgary Women in Energy continues to monitor the situation closely and we are responding as necessary. We have already taken measures to protect our members and the public by cancelling our events in March. We are currently reviewing our next steps forward to provide our members with virtual events in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.

With the current circumstances, we have also made the hard decision to postpone our annual Calgary Women in Energy Mixed Charity Golf Tournament to protect the safety of all golfers, members, volunteers and general public. We were set to tee off on Thursday, June 25th, 2020. Our new date will now be Thursday, September 10th, 2020. It will still be hosted at the Willow Park Golf and Country Club and our charity of choice will remain Children’s Cottage Society.
