22nd ANNUAL CWiE MIXED CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Calgary Women in Energy Annual Mixed Charity Golf Tournaments began as a fundraising effort for a local women's charity in the Calgary community. Since CWIE’s establishment in 2003, this tournament began and has raised over $1,000,000 for various charities in the local community of Calgary.

With an incredible volunteer committee and support from the industry the CWIE Annual Mixed Charity Golf Tournament has been a great success! We have started the planning and development for this years' tournament and have an excellent team who are committed to making this another successful and amazing event!

Registration Fee: $350 per golfer

May 6th - Registration open for CWIE Members

May 7th - Registration open for General Public

The charity for 2024 is Women Building Futures! They are a non-profit organization based in Edmonton, Alberta. They offer programs and support services to help unemployed and underemployed women explore and connect to careers that pay above a living wage. Careers that not only support their own security but often that of their children.

They help remove common barriers to financial independence. These barriers include employment training, access to affordable housing, academic readiness, access to affordable childcare and more. Over the last 20 years, they’ve grown to become a trusted name in our focus industries for introductory training and inspiring more women to explore career opportunities in these areas.

Every year at our golf tournament we provide team prizes, silent auction items, and raffles. We are asking for donations to fulfill this. These opportunities are only made possible through the generous donations we receive from members of the Calgary community and corporate organizations.
